Ostrich boas have a marabou center with different layers of Ostrich depending on the thickness of the boas. Four ply Ostrich boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 11" in diameter. The four ply has four layers of Ostrich wing feathers sewn into the marabou (soft Turkey feathers). With four layers of Ostrich, the marabou center is barely seen. This is the thickest Ostrich boas that Zucker Feathers offers.
Multi-colored boas are a combination of 2-3 colors of Ostrich feathers that are sewn onto the solid color of marabou boa and all are twisted together to make a fashionalbe fun boa.
Ostrich boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a cotton cord.
