Medium weight tipped marabou boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 2.5" in diameter. These boas are made from soft turkey feathers. The tipped boas unique look comes from a two step dyeing process that leaves the inside of the boa one color and the tips another.
Marabou boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a cotton cord.
