Feather Wrap Necklace

STEP 1. Pick out some feathers and strip them of the fuzzier bottom parts, leaving about an inch of stripped quill. |

STEP 2. Place the stripped quill in the center of the fold-over crimp piece. Gently push the folds down, securing the feather quill. Trim any left over quill. Repeat steps 1 & 2 with as many feathers as you’d like on your necklace. |

STEP 3. Trim a long length of chain. We’ve used about 30 inches, but you can adjust to a length that works best for you. |

STEP 4. Using jump rings, place the crimped feathers onto the bottom 4-5 inches of both ends of the chain. |

STEP 5. Wrap the chain around your neck and adjust the feathers. Natural feathers give the necklace a laid-back bohemian feel, but you could also class it up with some gorgeous peacock eyes or get wild with neon-dyed hackle feathers. Make it your own! |
